Jason A. Strelzow, MD, an expert in orthopaedic trauma, provides comprehensive care for patients with fractures and injuries throughout the body, with an additional emphasis on trauma of the upper extremity, including the hand.
Dr. Strelzow has a particular expertise in caring for complex fractures and post-traumatic deformity, including complex periarticular injuries and hand injuries. He also specializes in arthroscopy and arthroscopy-assisted fracture management of upper extremity injuries.
Along with being dedicated to his clinical work, Dr. Strelzow is currently exploring research on patient-reported outcomes related to elbow trauma, shoulder trauma and total elbow replacements. He takes an active interest in evaluating the functional outcomes around urban trauma with the goal of improving patient care and returning patients to normal activity as soon as possible.
In addition to being a frequent speaker and presenter, Dr. Strelzow has published numerous articles, book chapters and abstracts. He is a journal reviewer for the Journal of Hand Surgery, International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology & Surgery, and the Canadian Journal of Surgery.
